SolarInn Architectural Photovoltaic Roof Tile

Traditional roof appearance. Integrated solar generation.

This Is Not a Solar Panel

SolarInn transforms photovoltaic technology into an architectural glass surface—uniform, refined and designed to become part of the building itself.

A Roof Tile

ChatGPT Image Aug 31, 2026, 08_53_31 PM.png

Performs the conventional function of a building roof covering.

A Weather Surface

ChatGPT Image Aug 31, 2026, 08_53_35 PM.png

Provides protection against rain, wind, snow loads and long-term weather exposure.

A Power Generator

ChatGPT Image Aug 31, 2026, 08_53_39 PM.png

Turns the entire roof into a distributed solar power-generating surface.

One Roof. Three architectural functions.

Looks Like a Roof. Works Like Solar.

ChatGPT Image Aug 31, 2026, 09_08_05 PM.png

No raised solar panels.
No visual compromise.
The roof itself generates electricity.

Across Europe, CdTe consistently outperforms mono-crystalline silicon, delivering an average gain of +25–30% in Northern and North-Western Europe, around +20% in Central Europe, and still +6–14% in Southern regions, with its performance advantage increasing as solar irradiation decreases.

Installation System

Built Like a Roof. Powered Like Solar.

SolarInn roof tiles integrate directly into a conventional roofing build-up, installing onto timber battens without the separate aluminium rail system associated with traditional rooftop PV.

Solar Tile → Timber Battens → Breathable Membrane → Roof Structure

Electrical cables and connectors remain concealed beneath the tile layer, creating a clean, low-profile roof finish while maintaining familiar roofing construction principles.

01 — Solar Tile Integrated photovoltaic weathering layer.

02 — Timber Battens Direct support and installation interface.

03 — Breathable Membrane Secondary weather protection beneath the tiles.

04 — Roof Structure Conventional structural roof build-up.
